Den venstreorienterte nettavisen the Intercept har fått ut 900 sider med Anthony Faucis  korrespondanse. Den viser at Faucis institutt ga over tre millioner dollar til New York-baserte EcoHealth Alliance som brukte pengene på gain-of-function-forskning i Wuhan. Gain-of-function tar virus fra flaggermus og andre dyr og gjør dem mer smittsomme og dødelige. Det er stor sannsynlighet for at det er dette viruset som har skapt covid-pandemien.

Fauci har i to kongresshøriinger indignert benektet at hans institutt finansierte slik forskning. Nå er han tatt i løgn.

NEWLY RELEASED DOCUMENTS provide details of U.S.-funded research on several types of coronaviruses at the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China. The Intercept has obtained more than 900 pages of documents detailing the work of EcoHealth Alliance, a U.S.-based health organization that used federal money to fund bat coronavirus research at the Chinese laboratory. The trove of documents includes two previously unpublished grant proposals that were funded by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, as well as project updates relating to EcoHealth Alliance’s research.

“This is a road map to the high-risk research that could have led to the current pandemic,” said Gary Ruskin, executive director of U.S. Right To Know, a group that has been investigating the origins of Covid-19.

Det er ikke minst oppførselen til leder av EcoHealth Alliance, Peter Daszak, som styrker mistanken om at han finansierte forskning for å utvikle et smittsomt, dødelig virus. Dokumentene er ugjendrivelige bevis for at Fauci finansierte slik forskning gjennom Daszak:

Da pandemien var et faktum og søkelyset ble rettet mot Wuhan-laboratoriene, organiserte Daszak en underskriftskampanje hvor 27 ledende forskere i et innlegg i the Lancet gikk god for at viruset hadde et naturlig opphav. I forkant hadde Fauci hatt et zoom-møte med flere av de sentrale forskerne, som dansken Kristian Andersen.

Daszak og Fauci hadde sammenfallende interesser med Kina: Det gjaldt å avlede oppmerksomheten fra deres egen forskning.

Problemet for Fauci er det samme som Daszak har: Blånekting. Fauci har under ed sagt at han ikke har finansierte gain-of-function-forskning. Nå viser hans egen korrespondanse at han løy.

Richard Ebright, a molecular biologist at Rutgers University, said the documents – obtained via a Freedom of Information Act request — made it clear that Fauci had been “untruthful” about gain-of-function research.

“The documents make it clear that assertions by the NIH Director, Francis Collins, and the NIAID Director, Anthony Fauci, that the NIH did not support gain-of-function research or potential pandemic pathogen enhancement at WIV are untruthful,” he tweeted.

“The materials show that the 2014 and 2019 NIH grants to EcoHealth with subcontracts to WIV funded gain-of-function research as defined in federal policies in effect in 2014-2017 and potential pandemic pathogen enhancement as defined in federal policies in effect in 2017-present.”

Fauci finansierte over 65 prosjekter i Wuhan, ifølge boken som den australske journalisten Sharri Markson har skrevet: What really happened in Wuhan.

According to another report, the NIH funded a total of 65 research projects at the Wuhan institute — more than Fauci had let on.

The investigation published by the magazine The Australian also claimed that many of the projects involved “risky research on bat coronaviruses.”

The report, based on a soon-to-be-released book titled “What Really Happened in Wuhan,” claims that top US officials were unaware that Fauci had lifted an NIH ban on gain-of-function research.

“I was in meeting after meeting with Dr. Fauci and that never came up,” former national security advisor Robert O’Brien told the author. “I don’t know if he alerted anyone. I never heard about it until I was out of office.”
