Høyesterett avslo å beskytte Trumps skatteligning mot innsyn fra statsadvokaten i det sørlige distrikt i New York, Cyrus Vance jr, som er en svoren fiende. Trump uttrykte stor bitterhet over resultatet. Heksejakten tar aldri slutt. Vance tilhører Demokratene som ønsker å ødelegge Trump, ikke bare økonomisk, men også politisk og menneskelig.

Former President Trump on Monday slammed the Supreme Court for declining to halt the turnover of his tax records to a New York prosecutor, calling it «a continuation of the greatest political Witch Hunt in the history of our Country.»

The court’s action is the apparent culmination of a lengthy legal battle that had already reached the high court once before.

Det ble gjort et stort nummer av at Trump fikk utnevnt tre dommere til høyesterett. Så langt har de ikke forsvart ham, hverken i spørsmål om valgresultat eller skatt.

Trump ser forfølgelsene mot ham i sammenheng: Mueller-granskningen av noe de visste ikke fantes, to riksrettssaker.

Vance og juristene vet at de kan male en motstander til støv juridisk foran en domstol. Nå har de en administrasjon som backer dem opp.

«It never ends!» Trump said. «So now, for more than two years, New York City has been looking at almost every transaction I’ve ever done, including seeking tax returns which were done by among the biggest and most prestigious law and accounting firms in the U.S.»

Trump said that the Supreme Court «should never have let this ‘fishing expedition’ happen, but they did.»

Men forfølgelsen begrenser seg ikke til skatt. Det er nylig kommet ut at utenriksminister John Kerry ikke holdt ett, men mange møter med Irans utenriksminister Zarif. Zarif held meetings with Obama administration veterans who could return to power «to devise a political strategy to undermine the Trump administration» and usher in softer diplomacy between the U.S. and Iran, according to an unnamed former senior U.S. official cited by The Washington Times.

The official was discussing face-to-face meetings between Zarif and influential Democrats in 2017, 2018 and 2019, according to The Washington Times.

Dagens Iran-utsending, Robert Malley, var også med på møtene.

Møtene er nok et uttrykk for at det er en lov for Loke og en for Thor i dagens USA. Demokratene er i praksis hevet over loven. De kan gjøre hva de vil.

Men møtene øker fallhøyden for Biden-administrasjonen. De har holdt Iran varm og skapt forventninger i Teheran. Biden må innfri og det kan være det ikke er så lett som Biden og Kerry tror.

Trump ser bruken av statsadvokater i politisk øyemed som en form for fascisme.

«That’s what is done in third world countries,» he continued. «Even worse are those who run for prosecutorial or attorney general offices in far-left states and jurisdictions pledging to take out a political opponent.»Trump added: «That’s fascism, not justice—and that is exactly what they are trying to do with respect to me, except that the people of our Country won’t stand for it.»
