Det er vanskelig å ta Biden alvorlig. Talen han leverte i natt var som skrevet av en hippie fra 60-tallet: Make love not war.

 «Love is more powerful than hate, hope is more powerful than fear and light is more powerful than dark — this is our moment, this is our mission.»

Biden lover å bringe lys, der Trump har spredt mørke.

Det er ikke en gang svulstig. Det er platt.

«I give you my word: If you entrust me with the presidency. I will draw on the best of us, not the worst. I’ll be an ally of the light, not the darkness,» Biden said.

Biden nevnte ikke volden og mobben i gatene. Istedet snakket han om racial justice. Han snakker Black Lives Matter-språk.

Det er dristig når Amerika vet at Demokratene aldri har tatt avstand fra statue-rasering og vold å påstå at Biden skal være redningsmann. Redningsmann fra hva?

«Our current president is failed in his most basic duty to the nation. He’s failed to protect us. He’s failed to protect America, and my fellow Americans, that is unforgivable,» Biden said. «As president, I’ll make you a promise: I’ll protect Americans. I will defend us from every attack — seen and unseen — always, without exception, every time.»

Amerikanerne vet at det er Demokratisk-styrte byer som er ute av kontroll. Også Biden har gått inn for å reallokere politibudsjettet til andre formål. Det ikke å adressere denne frykten fra folk, kan ikke en som håper å bli president gjøre.

I stedet var det ord, ord, ord.

«May history be able to say that the end of this chapter of American darkness began here, tonight as love and hope and light join in the battle for the soul of the nation — and this is a battle we will win and we’ll do it together,» Biden said.

Den mistanken mottakeren får at er at Biden ikke klarerer noe bedre. Han har ikke mental kapasitet til mer.
