– Sverige betaler en høy pris for sin strategi i coronakrisen, landet har langt flere døde enn Norge, Finland og Danmark, påpeker USAs president Donald Trump.

Trump slår også fast i tweeten at USA har gjort et riktig valg:

Trump har tidligere sablet ned Sveriges coronastrategi, men også gitt anerkjennede kommentarer.

På en pressekonferanse i begynnelsen av april var han negativ til Sveriges håntering av coronaepidemien, med referanser til flokkimmunitet.

Alle snakker om Sverige, men svenskene lider. Situasjonen er alvorlig, sa han.

Om land som ikke har innført strenge coronatiltak, sa han dette:

– I think not, there are so many. If you look around the world, so has almost all the countries which practiced it, closed again. The uk is an example. Now, people are talking about Sweden, but Sweden is in a serious crisis, it knows you well?.

Trump fikk også spørsmål om flokkimmunitet.

– The Flock. They call it the flock. Sweden suffer large. It is his case to make it, but all have been watching each other, and almost all countries have made as we. If we had not done it, we had lost hundred of thousands more.
