Den brutale sannhet er at Toryene tapte valget. De fikk ikke majoritet. Det er det ene. Det andre er at David Cameron ikke våger å ta de nødvendige tiltak, men legger seg opp til den samme kulturliberale, politisk korrekte versjon som snart er enerådende i Europa. Det er den samme politikken som har skapt problemene, så hvordan skal den kunne løse noe som helst?

How could this failure have happened? The Tories had millions of pounds from Lord Ashcroft, poured into every winnable seat. They had the benevolent neutrality of the BBC and the fierce support of the Murdoch Press.

How could the Tories under David Cameron have lost the election?
They were up against the worst British Government of modern times, led by a man so unattractive, unloved and incompetent that a well-briefed Teletubby could have beaten him. Yet still they lost. How could this be?
