Antisemittisme med et menneskelig ansikt

Antisemittisme i dag kommer i pen humanistisk innpakning, representert ved blant annet personer som selv hevder de står i spissen for kampen mot rasisme, skriver Robert S. Wistrich, som har gjort seg noen refleksjoner etter en OSSE-konferanse i Wien i juli. Her er noen korte utdrag fra hans artikkel i Haaretz.

«The much revered Labor MP, Tam Dalyell, a bitter critic of Tony Blair and the Iraq war, recently alleged that British Foreign Secretary, Jack Straw – who apparently has a Jewish grandfather – was also a member of the «Jewish cabal» behind the Anglo-American assault on Saddam Hussein. According to this reckoning, Straw would therefore be a Mischling zweiten Grades: a second-degree Mischling (mixed race) as defined by the Nazi racial laws of 1935.»
